Nestled just a block from the L train, this Brooklyn gem offers a sleek, inviting atmosphere paired with exceptional service. The menu, though concise, features standout dishes like pork shoulder pasta, ribeye, grilled iceberg lettuce, and burrata, each delivering unique, flavorful twists on classics. Cocktails and desserts, such as the olive oil cake, impress with creativity and balance. While some dishes could use slight seasoning tweaks, the overall quality and generous portions make every meal satisfying. Friendly, attentive staff enhance the experience, making this spot well worth the price and a must-visit for both locals and visitors alike.
Boyfriend and I had dinner here and it was really good! Great cocktails at a decent price and the pasta was amazing. He had the chicken thighs in glaze with grits and that was incredible flavorful the chicken was very juicy. We shared the bread and burrata appetizer and it was delicious, just slightly annoyed to pay an extra dollar for extra bread?They asked us ahead of time if we were gonna share the appetizer and since I said yes I thought they would bring enough bread for two, but that’s not the case.
The food and restaurant were outstanding. We started with the burrata accompanied by pesto, sweet potato, and tomato jam, and then both of us ordered the braised pork pasta for the main course (we probably could have shared one). Each dish was incredible, boasting a wonderful blend of flavors and generous portions. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with lively music, and the service was quick. Fortunately, we were able to find seating at the bar on a busy Friday night without a reservation. I can't wait to come back with friends and family!
This restaurant truly deserves its 9.4 rating. Treat yourself and check it out! The standout dishes were the pork shoulder pasta, ribeye, and mussels, but honestly, everything was delicious.
Everything we ordered to eat for brunch was amazing. The cinnamon bun was INSANE (fluffy, sweet and a little sea salt on top). My friend didn’t like her Bloody Mary but that was the only thing. Decor inside and out is a vibe. Can’t wait to try thedinner menu next.
Otis was a fantastic meal from start to finish. I came here for brunch with a large group, which allowed us to order almost everything on the menu, and not a single dish disappointed. I particularly enjoyed the Brunch Iceberg, which was a nicecrunchy/healthy quasi-salad dish presented as an iceberg lettuce carved in half, and the braised pork shoulder, which was richand creamy in an al dente gigli pasta which you don't see often. Honorable mention for the wild mushroom toast. This was a 10/10for brunch and worth trekking out to East Williamsburg for.
