Was Martina Gerlach at Bornholm a mag?
They were quite busy as it was Valentines Day. As a result they ran out of some items we wanted from the menu, which was disappointing. But the food that did come out was very tasty and the owners were very attentive and friendly. Will go back to try what we missed! View all feedback.

Bornholm is excellent for dinner. Fresh and intriguing ingredients; lovely Danish food. Brunch is another matter. Food is mediocre, and for the most part; dull, run of the mill brunch fare found at every joint in Brooklyn. My family didn't come to Bornholm for omelettes and Eggs Benedict. Bornholm is an island in Denmark and it is known for an excellent food but the quality of food in this restaurnat of the name sake is not up to par. The service was random and poor and the drinks and wine list were mediocre. They also ran out of a lot of items in menu. The interior is tired looking, needs fresh coat of paint and good cleaning. It was a special occasion but an overall experience was mediocre . The food was reasonably priced but I am sure people will pay bit more for better food and better experience. It is a huge missed opportunity for them to have a restaurant with this name so I hope they will up the ante.
Lovely find in Brooklyn . Loved the fresh homemade food and friendly atmosphere . Food was delicious . Definitely worth a visit for brunch or dinner
We had reservations for dinner on Saturday evening, but when we arrived, we found out that the restaurant was closed temporarily for renovation due to issues with their US visas. It would have been helpful if Open Table had updated their website to reflect this closure, as it would have saved us a lot of time and inconvenience.
Unfortunately, the restaurant had closed its brunch service for the day, after being in business for just one year. The owners have returned to Denmark.
