Clear Flour Bread in Brookline is a must-visit artisan bakery blending flawless classics and inventive pastries—sourdough, challah, fougasse, financiers and yeast-raised donuts shine alongside seasonal breads and ice cream. A companion coffee bar offers sandwiches, cake slices and pantry goods. Lines are common but move quickly; staff are friendly and efficient. Coffee can be inconsistent, yet the quality of baked goods and creative flavors make it well worth a visit.
This place serves some of the finest pastries and cakes I've ever had, along with exceptional customer service! It's extremely popular, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it's absolutely worth it. This is definitely a place I plan to visit regularly!
I visit this bakery quite often, and I absolutely adore all their pastries. My favorites are the financiers, gibassier, and the tea cakes. They're perfect for a Sunday morning treat. There's usually a line, but it moves quickly; I've never waited more than 15 minutes. The staff is always polite and efficient.
Nice fresh bread baked daily. Bread is fresh and lasts long time, not that you will let it sit around.

A phenomenal coffee shop using excellent beans, baristas are talented, great cozy vibe. One note to the owners tho, please update your Google listing when you are closed! I often drive across town just for this spot closures are often not listed on Google. Throws a big wrench in the day, no pun intended!
