I’ve been wanting to go here forever since I always pass it. The place is cute and cozy with plenty of outdoor seating. We decided to sit outside. Service was great. I ordered the lobster roll, cold. It was fantastic. I definitely wanna come back and get it again. My fiancé got the burger and he says it was delicious. The menu had plenty of good options, so we’ll definitely be back. It was ok. I’ve had worse but I’ve had better. I guess i was expecting a little more flavorful especially for almost $50 for a lobster roll and fries. I would suggest you change your menu pricing online considering it says the lobster roll and fries are $24 and I was charged $40 View all feedback.
The lobster roll was so good! I am looking forward to eating at Varney's again soon.
This is a plain nice Seafood Shack (That’s why I rated the atmosphere a 3), but clean and the freshest fish we ever had. Try the Warm Lobster Roll-Competitively priced and loaded with lobster. They have a full bar and the portions are huge so you can share and the staff are wonderful. Meredith and Lexi were great to deal with. The chef only uses fresh fish-not frozen and I thought the Cole Slaw was from a commercial Vat, but it wasn’t-Home made and delicious. Try it and you’ll come back, but make sure to make a reservation since it’s small. There is a small outside picnic bench seating area, but much nicer inside. This place is not fancy. The best fried flounder on Long Island. The staff was great.
I have been driving by since my recent move to the area saying i have to try that place. Tonight on my way home from work I stopped to take out a lobster
