The restaurant has potential, with a small but varied menu offering pork buns, dumplings, and sticky rice parcels. While some customers found the dumplings to be lacking in temperature and flavor, others enjoyed the delicious and affordable options available. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for a quick and cheap meal. The staff is friendly, and the overall quality of the food is consistent. Customers recommend trying the chili sauce that complements the dishes well. With affordable prices and specials available, Steamed is a great spot for a satisfying snack or light meal.

Delicious! Simply delicious! Great little shop hidden away with a small variety of choice of dumplings, each of which are sensational! I love that the ladies were hand making the dumplings right in front of you. I tried all of the dumplings and the pork bun and couldn't fault them clearly home made, and well priced! I will be back again and again and again View all feedback.
What Kristy Pacocha dislikes about Steamed:
This place has potential to be good. There were only Pork bun and five types of dumplings on offer; Pork, Chicken, Vegan, and two types of Sticky Rice Parcel. One major flaw is their dumplings were not steamy hot nor warm. Sauce and condiment were limited to Chilli Oil and Soy Sauce. I felt it needed black vinegar. We generally love dodgy looking little places like this because we feel their focus would be more on food, not aesthetic side of the shop. But I guess that's not always accurate.

Good little hidden gem. Usually order the 6 and a bun deal. The pork bun is my favorite. It's light fluffy and the filling is delicious. The dumplings can be a hit or miss - depending on who makes them. Usually when the older lady makes them they are smooth, glossy, and just melt in your mouth. The best part about this place has to be their chilli/ Asian "vegemite". It is amazing, and compliments the dumplings and pork bun so well. All in all a good place to have a quick, light meal.
