Was Foxdog at Abode Cafe a mag?
We found it by mistake after turning down a one way street with a rubbish truck behind us and unable to turn back as you do. A delightful little oasis with outdoor tables superb coffee and friendly service . Attached is a little store that foodies would go crazy in , say no more , go and see it for yourself. We had breakfast which eggs served on sourdough with avocado . Lovely experience !!! View all feedback.

Disappointing experience maybe because I arrived at 1.30...closing 2pm the staff were busy with other jobs and distracted...my first experience here...I asked for gluten free options -a soup of the day?...nothing...I was hungry so I settled for the quiche and just scooped the egg top off...it arrived cold plonked on a plate no accompaniments, no relish...I was quite surprised at the small size lonely on the plate and... Abode cafe is a busy cozy coffee shop that serves good quality coffee drinks along with different breakfast, and lunch meals. I visited the place number of times with family and friends and I enjoyed their coffee the most. The place would make you feel like you’re going to your grandma kitchen.The discouraging side of Abode cafe is some of its staff who lack to the customer courtesy. As foreigner, you won’t feel yourself welcomed in the cafe due to unprofessional customer service from some staff. Honestly, I felt like I need to comment on this as a favor for the cafe owner. Otherwise, the area has many coffee shops which provide high-quality coffee and offer a wonderful customer service.A good cafe such as Abode needs to mind some of its staff customer service skills.
Abode quite easily served the best food and coffee I have ever had in a cafe. The food servings were generous and well priced; not to mention absolutely delicious. The service was personal and extremely friendly. Perfectly cooked eggs, lovely in house made almond butter and their chilli jam is to die for! Definitely a gem in the suburbs that everyone should try. Very well done Abode Cafe.
My wife and I met up with some old friends here on our last trip to Brisbane. Was really impressed by the great food, coffee and friendly staff. I can recommend the avocado toast - simple but delicious!
I had brunch at this restaurant and the price per person was between A$60–80. The food was excellent, I would give it a 5 out of 5 rating. The service was also top-notch, I would rate it a 5 out of 5 as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting and I would also give it a 5 out of 5 rating. I would highly recommend trying the Avocado Toast when dining at this restaurant. There is plenty of parking available, so it is very convenient to visit.
