A culinary hot spot in Brixen with a must-visit order for everyone! We had a wonderful evening in the courtyard with many culinary highlights...
Very good food and great wines, very hospitably looked after by a young and friendly team.
Cozy courtyard with good wine and narrow menu. Good tartar and wine snack.
Somehow, during our stay in Brixen, all the good restaurants in Brixen were closed for business holidays or for other reasons. Finally we ended up in a wine shop. This didn't make a difference in terms of the enjoyment of the food, but the selection of drinks for non-alcoholics was rather limited, hence one star less. Wine drinkers, on the other hand, can of course be happy… You can see the food in the pictures as usual. About the individual courses: The anchovies were not particularly prepared, but were of very good quality. The beef tartare was very good, although we liked it a little better the day before. We also really enjoyed the scallop carpaccio with peaches, unfortunately the peach wasn't very sweet, if you had gotten a fully ripe one it would have been even better. The composition of the last dish was also rather unusual, at least for us: squid with potatoes, sweet onions, crispy pork rind and scamorza foam. But the interaction was really very good! Regarding the ambience, we can also say that we sat in a leafy courtyard that was really beautifully decorated. In such a case, the nice feeling also depends on the good weather. The staff was very friendly and concerned about our well-being.
