Stonesthrow - Breadalbane
Stonesthrow
Description
Stonesthrow restaurant offers a stunning view and convenient parking, but unfortunately falls short when it comes to food quality and service. Multiple reviewers complained about long wait times, subpar dishes, and inexperienced staff. On the positive side, the location is beautiful, and the restaurant caters to a wide range of customers. While some enjoyed the share plate and scones, others were disappointed by their meals and the overall experience. Ultimately, it seems that the potential of Stonesthrow is clouded by inconsistent food and service quality, making it a hit-or-miss dining option in the scenic Tasmanian setting.

Wonderful food with a lovely outlook out the large windows! We had a share plate which was delicious. It had a little bit of most things on the snack menu and was quite enough for a light lunch. There is enough to suit everyone on the lunch menu View all feedback.

Ordered a large breakfast and French toast, but quite disappointed. sour teig was too hard to be a real French toast and the waitress was not professionally trained. 3 of four coffees were spilled when it was served. the best is however the prospect and their farm. these animals are so enchanting! a visit worth!
His hard negative feedback at some point, but stonesthrow needs constructive criticism. I came with my partner for a quick bite to eat on a Tuesday shortly before midday. there were only about 4 other tables that were occupied when we had set ourselves. we ordered a stockplate and had to wait 50 minutes until it comes out. not only that, but for a beautiful part of the world like tassie and the products it has to offer, I would definitely not pay 44 anymore. the workers (all 8) were young and seemed very “rookie-like”. many confusion, inconspicuous and lost. if these youngs get some experienced employees...read more
Sinking stone. After I had tried to book without luck on the phone, my friend and I decided to risk it and go to stones thrown to Sunday dinner. the matire had almost rolled her eyes on me when I told her that we had no booking, “yes, it will be a 30-minute waiting period” that is good that we said. then she left and we stayed in the foyer. she came back after a few eyes and said: “You can have the table over there” that shows. the room was small, but beautifully decorated and the big window that looked beyond the damm was nice. how beautiful it would be in the summer if they had a deck. the room was full with most tables all ready to receive...read more
