My boyfriend and I came here yesterday to watch the hurling and have dinner and drinks. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was great and very cozy. I ordered the brat chicken vig, and my friend had the fish and chips—both were delicious and filling. I found the prices quite reasonable; we had two dinners and two drinks for under €40. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back again!
First of all, the service is AMAZING. The waiter was so sweet! He made little silly jokes like 'I got your fish fresh from the sea ' and 'I got the seashells at the beach for ya '. Defo recommend coming here.
Mcgettigan's is a hidden gem, perfect for those looking for a peaceful meal. Although it often goes unnoticed, the service was exceptional and the prices were fair. All in all, it offers great value.
