Inknotted is a charming restaurant in Montana with excellent food and service. The vibe is great, and the home-cooked meals are tasty and well-prepared. The ambiance is modern and clean, although noise levels can be high with large groups. The staff is attentive and helpful, despite the busy atmosphere. Some dishes, like the scramble, may not meet expectations, but overall, the service is excellent. Whether for a birthday breakfast or lunch or dinner, Inknotted offers a pleasant dining experience with good food and a cozy atmosphere for a meal with loved ones.
The ambiance was very modern and clean. There were quite a few large groups and with the high ceilings the noise level was high. We went for a birthday breakfast. The server was very helpful and did an amazing job considering she had all of these large parties all at once. The latte I had was great and I'm fairly picky when I come to my coffee. I was less impressed with the scramble I had. The dish came out in a little cast iron pan, which was a nice job. But it was very watery and just not that tasty. The toast was not toasted and the potatoes were just the shredded potatoes with cheese melted on top (I was happy for a small portion, but most people would be very disappointed with such a small serving). But the service was great and perhaps there lunch and dinner are far better.
We headed here after arriving to Montana. Food and Service were excellent. My husband and daughter had a lovely elk stew. I went with the quiche. Charming restaurant with good service.
