this would have been a 5-star rating, with the exception of a nice one. three of us ordered full dinners that should come with miso suppe. No one noticed that we never get the suppe until late in the meal. the waitress said her assistant must have forgotten. her solution should tell us that next time we tell her we came in and she would get us the suppe for free. I would have appreciated a more sincere apologies and... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Japango:
The food was not good. Portions were small, quality of food was poor. We ordered the calamari and it was spongy and almost inedible. We brought food home with a to go order too, which included the chocolate cake. The cake was dry and could have been mistaken for a duncan hines cake, but very dried out. The restaurant was horribly overpriced and it was very disappointing. Will not go back. View all feedback.
Our favorite sushi spot in the Greater Boulder area! We really enjoy the atmosphere, and the food is consistently excellent. The Shumai dumplings are a must-try, and today we sampled the Montana Roll, Cactus Roll, and the Diablo—absolutely delicious! Jarrett provided fantastic service, and we always look forward to visiting because it’s a wonderful experience every time!
The sushi here is of amazing quality! I really enjoyed the place. The dishes are beautifully presented.
I had a fantastic experience at Japango. The sushi was authentic and delicious. The cocktail menu was impressive, featuring a wide variety of creatively crafted drinks. Their collection of Japanese whiskey was also a pleasant surprise. However, the highlight of the visit was definitely the staff. Our bartenders were exceptional and made the experience even better. We had a wonderful time during lunch, and I would honestly return just for the outstanding service. The excellent food and drinks are simply a delightful bonus.
Delicious as always. Great, creative sushi offerings, fun cocktails, exceptional service. Would visit multiple times a week if I could! Wish we sat toward the front of the house. Better ambience toward the front. The back tables are ok, but to go orders are packaged at the little bar back there and it feels a bit off to the side.
Very nice looking inside but the sushi and food isnt good, the salad had no sauce it tasted very plain, the sushi the fish is very chewy and the rice kept breaking and it was very expensive also wasn’t cut well
