Was Joe Quillian at First Watch a mag?
We visited for the first time and were very impressed. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the staff was both friendly and efficient. The food was of high quality and absolutely delicious. The prices were reasonable, and everything was served quickly. We will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What Mike Koch dislikes about First Watch:
I gave this restaurant only a 3 star rating because of the terrible seating. We had a group of 8 senior ladies and were seated at a high table with the heaviest, hardest, most uncomfortable bar stools ever made. My food was wonderful and our waitress was very pleasant and efficient. However, I left with pain in my neck, back, shoulders and seat. I was absolutely miserable the entire time I was there. Atmosphere is great. Lead Kitchen staff used the bathroom in front of me and didn’t wash his hands. The portions sizes are small and over cooked. Food is ok at best.Kid-friendliness: Staff and servers are all nice people. Food is over cooked and small portions.
Ordered AM superfood bowl. I try to stay away from wheat so I asked the server could she switch out the toast for grits. They switched it out for me before with no problem. Todays server said she cannot do it. So I payed $11.99 for a very small portion of superfood bowl. Not a happy customer.
Have eaten at a few of these. Food is always good. Million dollar bacon will crank your sugar to the roof! The pecan salad is awesome. We had a trainee thus visit. She did great.
Restaurant was way too cold, even with a swearshirt jacket. Waited a long time to be seated and get our food. Food was vey good.
The food is consistently fantastic! However, the service leaves something to be desired. We had to request an item from our waitress three times, and our four meals were served at different intervals. It's difficult to fully enjoy a meal when not everyone is dining together.
