Great spot for locals and visitors! My beef burrito was huge and tasty! My wife loved her fish shrimp tacos. We also enjoyed the live music!
2nd visit at new location and just pretty disappointed in the food. It always looks good but lacks any flavor at all. We left most of our food uneaten tonight and will sadly not be gone back. Its funny backer the ladies behind us sent their salsa back saying it was too spicy, it was laughable. It’s unfortunate that the new location is so nice but it’s just not the same.
So I gotta say the only reason we went Mexican instead of another cuisine restaurant was for complimentary chips and salsa. It’s just expected in the states at most Mexican restaurants and we have lived out of the country for the last two years where it’s “not a thing”. Needless to say it was such a disappointment to be told you do not offer this. Back home to Panama I go to also pay for chips salsa. Sigh. This is why you got 4 instead of stars. Brisket on taco salad was delicious.
I was not sure about this place when we walked up. Seems like mostly outside seating with the bar seating inside. Hence the sidebar in its name. It was a nice day out so the weather was not an issue. We sat at the bar and it was a good time. The foodwas great. The kids loved it. The crew working were very polite. They were working hard as well. They had a good crowded andthey managed it well. Food came out in a nice time. Not too long of a wait. We will return if in that part of town again.
Absolutely delicious rice bowl with chicken?. Will 100% be back if in the area. The queso was good, I would have prefer diced jalapeños instead of just 2 slices, but I like things hot. Service was great at the bar, food was served nice and hot. 5stars, great value! The place was relatively small, so I could see it getting crowded during normal times.
