Located in the old town's shopping district, Bar Rafel caters to locals and tourists alike. The food is simple and tasty. The coffee is excellent. Prices are fair. Good value for the money. Service is friendly and efficient. Recommended!
Tonight we went shopping downtown and stopped for a drink at the Bar Rafael cafeteria. We have been there many times. When we received the invoice it was € 5.80 per half liter of Bock Damn and € 4.50 per half liter of beer. When asked, he said the price was correct. We know that is not correct as we have been there many times before. Either he is conning the people because of the pandemic or because we are English. Either way, the guy is a jerk and filed a complaint with the proper authorities.
Friendly place, mostly locals, always a good sign. Good selection of breakfast and lunch options. Haven't been later in the day yet.
The tapas was cooked fresh and tasted amazing! Staff very friendly would highly recommend for tasty authentic Spanish tapas!
