We recently decided to have a meal in here for convenience after some fun on the arcade machines in Coral Island, but we really wish we didn't bother. We ordered the chicken tikka masala which was completely bland with no flavour, chewy chicken pieces, and watery rice. Also £2.25 for two small poppadoms that were so salty they were inedible. We visited Blackpool for a family day out to see the illuminations and had lunch at The Buccaneer in Coral Island. Despite it being busy, we were seated right away. We quickly ordered our food and drinks, which arrived promptly and were excellent. The best part was that children under 10 eat for free with every paying adult, so our total bill for three adults and two children was only £46. This is great value and we highly recommend dining here.
Excellent food, excellent service. Food was served promtly even at a busy time and portion sizes are more than generous.
Staff are extremely welcoming, helpful and curtious. Captain Jack made my daughter feel so comfortable when she asked for a photograph with him after having a pirate face painting
We were seated quickly and the food arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the chicken lacked seasoning and the steak was very dry. The price we paid for lunch did not justify the quality of the meal.
