My companion had fish chips and peas I had their home made steak pudding. They said it was good and it was. Unfortunately they had run out of their only pudding which is expensive ice-cream. That said will go again. If you want alcohol take your own they will charge corkage View all feedback.

This was our first visit since the restaurant changed ownership. We were impressed by the generous portion of chips, the perfectly crispy fish, and the delicious Chinese curry sauce. We will definitely return in the future.
Last night, my partner brought me fish and chips from this restaurant. It was delicious! The batter was crunchy, the fish was succulent, and the chips were cooked perfectly. I always have the fish and chips from here because they are consistently good. We wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The prices are great and the food is delicious.

All my previous reviews have been glowing, but my most recent visit was awful. Small piece of haddock (should have been a medium) and heavily battered (perhaps to disguise the fact that itwas a small piece of fish when I asked for lightly battered) plus tasteless, will make me think twice about returning. There seemed to have been a change with the Friers, but that's no excluse forsuch a poor offering..
