Took away some flake fish for dinner. The fish was batter fried to a golden brown perfection. Packed in the traditional paper, it was a sight to behold as the wrapping style is the olden, traditional style of packing of these fish & chips. The fish was moist, tender and delicious. This used to be a great place to buy Fish and Chips but a recent visit (after moving away from the area years ago), found me regretting my decision to return. As I entered, the place looked tired as did the staff who ignored me for at least a couple of minutes before taking my order. Upon opening my order atmy friends place, we realised half the orderwas missing, chips were soggy and my Spring Roll was so overcooked... View all feedback.
We ordered burgers and fries at this restaurant. The kids ordered schnitzel burgers while I opted for a standard fish burger. The burgers were absolutely fantastic, with lightly toasted buns, delicious fish, and fresh lettuce. It was a great treat for our Australian Day celebrations and we left feeling satisfied.
I've only had the chips here, which were pretty good. They'd sell massive bags of them which my friends would buy to eat together. I’ve heard that they burnt down at some point, but have reopened since. I hope they're doing alright.
Now known as 'Big Jay Hampton Park '. My local fish&chips shop yum ! Friendly staff, excellent service with a warm smile. Always Support Local.

This restaurant has the best and most amazing service. I always enjoy getting four potato cakes with lots of salt and vinegar. The owners are very polite and generous. I have never enjoyed food from fish and chip shops before, but I can't wait to come back for their daily specials.
