there is not much in the type of vegan fine eating in the northeast so hjem is a real gem. they offer a fully vegan tasting menu for £120 that includes 18 different dishes. absolutely amazing eating and excellent service. they need to book ahead (as months before) View all feedback.
Outstanding experience for a birthday contract. 15 course menu that was great. eating is nice, fine dining room quality, but it didn't feel that way in the service atmosphere. we stayed in the night, room was fine hotel going through gradual refurbishment, then the breakfast was another tasty bite with beautifully arranged dips in the morning.

We had an amazing 14 course taster meal here yesterday. All gluten free!! I've been coeliac for 30 years and have become used to missing little treats, but I had 14 of them yesterday, everyone of them special. The staff are very helpful, friendly and unpretentious. I really recommend it for coeliacs, so tasty, even the special home made gf bread was the best I've ever had and the Fika at the end was unbelievable. Superb day!

The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance (like months in advance).
We had an amazing dining experience at Hjem. Everything was perfect and we are looking forward to returning. The service, meal type, and atmosphere were all exceptional, and we highly recommend this restaurant. Prices were on the higher side, but well worth it for the quality of the food and service.
