Was User at Thai Villa a mag?
I had lunch with my elderly mother, and it was wonderful. The restaurant truly catered to our needs. We enjoyed some delicious Thai food, and the waitstaff were incredibly patient with my mother. They also took great care to accommodate a gluten-free diet for one of our group members. Although the outside might not seem impressive, the food was absolutely fantastic. What a hidden gem! What I V dislikes about Thai Villa:
When I arrived to pick up my takeout order, the owner—I'm assuming—was quite pushy, insisting that this was the best Thai restaurant around. They kept asking which other Thai places I had tried and seemed determined to convince me that I would love the food. Unfortunately, I was really let down. The Pad See Ew was quite disappointing. It was very gummy, and the flavor was overwhelmingly dominated by soy sauce, rather than a balanced taste.
The food was delicious, especially with the extra sauce I requested. Vera, the driver, was a delight!
This restaurant never lets us down. The staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. We particularly enjoy the Gang Karee 47 (as shown in the picture).
This is one of the best Thai restaurants we have found so far in NJ. The food was fresh. The service was excellent. The prices were reasonable. It is about a 25 minute drive for us, but we'll worth it. I would highly reccomend this restaurant. PS they are moving about 2 miles away in Sept. (2022). Moving in with a sister restaurant called Taste of Thai. So if you don't see Thai Villa look for Taste of Thai. Service: Dine in
