The pittas are very delicious! the restaurant makes their chutneys all themselves.
'The best pitta in town ' may be, but I don 't know if there are many other pittarias in Berne. It takes a long time waiting before you get your pitta or whatever, though there is not much to choose between, especially if you 're vegan. There 's much ado about the food, but apart from the enormous and filling quantities there is nothing remarkable about i´t. But not bad, either.
The food is bland, only a hint of oriental. Everything is fried. What a shame, it used to be really nice. But that was before. I told the staff, but she said that's just the way it is.
All I can say is pure enjoyment. The food was very good. Be it pita or a dish on the plate, it is simply a pleasure. I hope the hummus was homemade and if not, I have to know where I can buy it.
