Volta has been praised right after they opened, but I never got a chance to try if this is true, since they stopped their lunch menu pretty quick (I work just around the corner).So I was quite pleased that they are open for lunch again.Today I had a delicious lunch there. They offer four types of "bowls", i.e. four different mixtures of vegetables, fruits and noodles/rice and four toppings (pulpo, chicken, tofu, ...). The vegetables were fresh and crispy and the noodles "al dente".Prices are not cheap for lunch but adequate.Staff was nice and the seating also quite nice next to a little fountain, despite being just off loud Brunnenstraße
Ich wohne um die Ecke ich würde voll gerne öfters kommen, aber ich werde das wahrscheinlich selten noch machen. leider stimmt erst mal das preis-leistungs-verhältnis nicht. Ich habe zwei Gerichte bestellt und über 22€ dafür bezahlt und bin trotzdem nicht satt raus gegangen. Es war einfach nicht genug auf dem Teller - auch wenn die Gerichte gut waren, ist es ja kein Sterne Restaurant...Das Personal war sehr freundlich aber leider reicht das nicht. Schade.
Wir waren übers Wochenende in Berlin und haben uns gefragt, wo wir abends essen gehen wollen. In einem Buch "99x Berlin..ganz anders" sind wir auf das VOLTA gestoßen. Es wurde dort der beste Burger der Stadt angepriesen, das wollten wir testen!Vorweg gab es einen Blattsalat mit Äpfel und Wasabi-Dressing... leckerdann gab es ChickenWings mit einer Barbeque-Sause ... leckerzum Hauptgang hatten wir den VOLTA Burger und den Lachs mit Spinat-Salat.Ich weiß nicht, wie es sagen soll... lecker!!!Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.Die drei Jungs im Restaurant/Bar waren sehr cool drauf.Danke :)
It would have been good if the wolta had been open. it had business holidays.
