It’s only a 15min bicycle ride from the Reichstag but once you are at Plötzensee's Fischerpinte it’s a completely different world. Surrounded by nature, it feels a little bit like you are back in the "good old days" of the seventies. Even Monika who runs the business looks like she comes from a different time. A real West-Berliner institution (Urgestein), threatened with extinction.Her beer is always as well chilled as her attitude is "rough but warm" - and you can experience probably the most beautiful sunsets in Berlin (well, when sun is shining). An insider's tip!
