View all feedback.
What Adriano Abreu dislikes about Ebe Ano:
Very bad experience! Too expensive, slow service and the food was not good at all. We asked about a speciality (Nkwobi) and they told us it was only vegetables but it was only bones and bones of cheap meat and really spicy (nothing of that...was indicated on the menu) We told them we dindt like it and that we found they cheat in us: they made us payed for it eventhough we dindt eat anything! We ahve tried several afr... View all feedback.
Went with British special forces for a weekend training and visited this restaurant. Amazing food and the chef and owner of the restaurant always came out to check on the customers to find out how the meals were and the service. i definitely recommend this...restaurant and anytime we are down in Berlin i have made it know to my squadron that this is the place for our troops to eat the best Africa has to offer.
Great place with very friendly staff and delicious food. Their goat pepper soup and friend plantains are amazing. Really the best I have ever had, including in Nigeria. Highly recommended.
I just went to Ebe Ano with my Nigerian friend to try Nigerian food for the first time. To anyone that has never tried it before, TRY IT! You won't be disappointed. It was truly an experience. The meal I ate, Egusi soup, was soup...you eat with your hands. So be prepared to try something new and open your eyes to another culture. I would rate the food 5/5 from a foreign perspective. My Nigerian friend rated it a 4.5/5 from a strictly Nigerian perspective. Bottom line: food was amazing, moderately priced, and the staff was very friendly. Be warned, however, the food is so filling that you will be very sleepy!
This is my first time having Nigerian food and I am now a fan! The coconut stew with beef was beautiful and creamy and SURPRISE the rice was like nasi lemak, coconut milk rice! The meat was so soft and tasty! The spicy juicy beef...had just the right amount of spice and was incredibly nice and slightly charred on the outside while soft and chewy on the inside. The plantain was a little off the sweet side but it made up for the blandness with the tomato stew, which was salty. We also had the Nigerian Guinness and boy was that a hearty meal! I’ll definitely be back again!
Had the yam vegetable dish with a side of plantains, accompanied by a glass of house red. Was all freshly made, tasty and came with a little jar of flaming hot chili paste to heat things up. Good eating, nice visit. And at 20 EUR...including everything also quite good value.
