I m surprised to see great comments, things have probably changed for this restaurant this year: staff was friendly but each of us got a 10€ single dry maultasche with a salad melted in olive oil. The Spätzle looked better. The bread was the worst of all, probably unfrozen few days ago. amazing for Berlin. Buy the maultasche and cook them @ home! View all feedback.
After the tour of sufficient food not spectacular, restless place, but I think the staff could be more polite.
We held a afternoon in the maul bag at midday while we were in berlin last month and we were so glad we did. the restaurant is small, intimate, well designed and very comfortable. the meat lobe was delicious. the potato salad is very special and. the beer was great. even better was our wonderfully charming, cheerful and humorous waiter. his personality together with the delicious food made our experience an unforgettable one. we recommend the maul bag.
