Confession: our initial dining destination in Kreuzberg was Cafe Ora; however, Ora is no longer open for lunch and brunch (what up? so we wound up at Cafe Alibi. And what a happy development that was! Although the decor is pretty basic, the gnocchi for...me and the ravioli for my husband were skillful and elegantly seasoned, and we were so impressed we paid a second visit (this time, on purpose). Eating to take. Chicken curry with rice for 8,20 €. I chose the court as it is usually possible to expect a corresponding quality for the price and not, as with other quick notes, for € 4-6. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Overcooked, plastic chicken and total rice, vegetables (analyses and carrots) lacking. Too bad, unfortunately Foursquare has been right with a rating of 5.6. All day brunch. Kaart beschikbaar in het Engels en Duits, helaas sprak de serveerster geen Engels. Heerlijk uitgebreide brunch gehad. Prijs-kwaliteit in orde. Café ligt aan een drukke straat met veel lawaai van verkeer en werkzaamheden. Gelegen in een wat achterstandse wijk, veel onrust en armoede.

Ist das Cafe Alibi allemal. Wir flüchteten vor der Kälte und hatten Kaffee und frischen Ingwer in heißem Wasser. Der Käsekuchen mit Karamel und nüssen war ausgesprochen gut und der Service nett. Viele Zeitschriften und sehr saubere Toiletten!
Super breakfast for two. More than enough and very tasty. A first-class selection and special requests (instead of two cooked eggs, dear agitator) no problem. Especially the waitress gets great praise from us. Very friendly and accommodating. We definitely come back to the next Berlin visit and can only recommend the alibi!
Good food (more courage when seasoning would be good). The service worked very well and wasted, but it did well again by a very friendly way. Short waiting times. Total pleasant stay
