Was Darius Herold at Agni a mag?
we were only for one night in berlin and we were looking for something to eat near our hotel. we found these in walking distance from the hotel. the place is small with just a few tables, but eating was amazing, really authentic Indian taste. main dish served with rice serving on huge plate rooms. one of the best Indian restaurants we had during our journey to Europe. Berlin is not famous for curry. There are a lot of curry restaurants and almost all of them serve bland, flavourless, pre cooked rubbish. Agni does not. The food is cooked fresh in front of you. The tandoori dishes are incredible. There are only 12...seats so best to come when it's not busy. View all feedback.
I met a good friend here to eat. he is out of india and says that this is the best of the 13 or so Indian restaurants he has eaten. he tells me this is the next thing they can eat in berlin to authentic Indians. he knows the cook and says he's in every dish a lot of effort. what more do you have to see?
India is one of my favorite travel destinations but sometimes it too far. As I initially moved to Berlin, I knew that one of my goals is to find the best Indian food around. Luckily, my search was rapidly over when I found this jewel....Agni is a family run restaurant and it provides the sheer magic of the Indian cuisine with a genuine Tandoor, all of the dishes are spot on. They have recently opened another branch in Prenzlauer berg and it is also very good. Love this place!
I highly recommend the restaurant's new branch at Prenzlauer Allee 145. It is spacious with a lot of tables. It has the same menu as the first restaurant. Public transport access is good and parking also is usually there. So those of you who can...reach this place, you will not be disappointed!
Best Indian place I knowing Berlin — don’t judge by the lunch and go for the Agni Specials! Finally spicy Indian food when the menu says so. Vegetarian only. Thank you for being here in Moabit
