Was Christopher Lee at Coro Coffee Room a mag?
I wish I had found this place sooner it’s likely the best coffee shop in the east bay. Small but really nice space, amazing coffee, tasty pastries from starter (and maybe others? . I’ve been there a few times now and their drip, pourover, and expresso drinks have all been delicious. I also overhead that they do roasting and cupping classes, too : View all feedback.
What x dislikes about Coro Coffee Room:
The chai had a rich flavor, but the texture wasn’t quite right. The empanadas had a delicious filling, but the dough was rather dry. Furthermore, the establishment should think about updating their register and ensuring their baristas are aware of local regulations, as cashless businesses are illegal in Berkeley—a rule that came into effect last year. This restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere and convenient street parking. They feature an impressive selection of local coffee beans and make outstanding coffee drinks. We sampled the rosemary latte and the caramel latte. The rosemary latte was a beautifully balanced and refreshing option. Meanwhile, the caramel latte was one of the best I’ve ever had! It starts with a lovely buttery flavor, and the caramel notes are perfectly prominent in the middle. It concludes with a delightful harmony of espresso, milk, and caramel. We will definitely come back here whenever we're in the neighborhood!
I am truly impressed with the idea behind CoRo Coffee Room—a café situated within a co-roasting facility that showcases a range of smaller roasters. I bought several bags of beans to try, and I've loved each one so far. I also appreciate their commitment to hygiene, as they require masks upon entry. I will definitely be coming back!
The staff at this restaurant are exceptionally friendly, and the variety of coffee available is impressive. Additionally, the location is situated in a beautiful neighborhood. I will definitely come back!
SPECTACULARLY DELICIOUS specialty coffee at the bar. I would bring my 3rd wave hater friends here to show them how it's really done. Hard to find better anywhere in the world. Had the best cortado of my life here with incredible brightness and depth of flavor, and the caramel latte was eye-roll-into-the-back-of-your-head delicious. Amazing coffee, pastries, and service. always! only wish they would display prices for the bags of beans. i just accidentally bought a $36 bag of coffee, assuming it’d be like $18-24ish. but then there is a line to get back into to change so i went with it. but having the prices displayed we be super helpful. thanks!
