Was Max B at Closed a mag?
I've been dining here intermittently since I was a child. I really enjoy the lunch and dinner combinations, appetizers, and more. It's a classic American-style Chinese takeout spot. The boneless ribs, chicken fingers, General Tso's chicken, egg rolls, and rangoons are all delicious. View all feedback.

The place was empty. I was the only one dining in on a Friday night. The service was friendly and attentive. The food inconsistent. Most was fine, but the General Tso's was interesting, in a bad way. The texture and taste were not too my liking. Not necessarily anything wrong with it, just not to my liking. The dinner was shrimp and scallops. I paid good money for 4 shrimp and 4 scallops....they did not give me proper food for my money Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
This was probably the worst Chinese experience ever. It was early dinner time with no other diners. We ordered a beer We have NO beer was the response, no reason or apology. We ordered plum wine which was sweeter than syrup undrinkable. My husband liked his hot and sour soup but I found my egg drop soup to be thick and viscous, very off putting.All items were thickly battered. They looked like a hammer would be required to get through them. I couldn 't bear the idea of consuming any of this. The reviews were all enthusiastic I felt a bit angry. Don 't waste your time here.
I gave Wong Garden about six months since my previous visit to see if they have improved. Well, it is as bad as it was before. The food is absolutely terrible. I got beef and broccoli and the broccoli was so hard I could not bite into it. The beef was ice cold. I had to throw it all away. Chicken fingers were hard and cold. This is the absolute worst Chinese food I have ever had. I really never complain, but this place is really bad. Stay away!
Requested sauce on the side of two dishes when I ordered take out. Both came smothered in sauce. Couldn’t eat either of them. Very disappointing.
