Was Kristine R at Cake It a mag?
I was looking for an under the sea/mermaid cake for my daughter's birthday and scoured local bakery websites for something that looked like what I wanted. I sent a few Pinterest sample pictures and Cake It did a great job! Not only was it cute but it tasted good too. I would highly recommend for specialty cakes! View all feedback.

I really hate leaving a negative review, however the cake I purchased recently was not good. It tasted like a box cake mix was used and the buttercream frosting reminded me of canned frosting. The filling is not memorable enough to write about. The quality was on par with a store bought cake. I'm truly surprised there are so many 5 star reviews. View all feedback.
She handed me the cake packaged in a half open box. Hard to transport and not presentable. Please find taller boxes or make shorter cakes!
Cakes turned out exactly how I wanted and expected. They were done so elegantly and were perfect for the occasion.While I thought Pompa was attentive while talking to her, she also seemed like she was extremely busy and didn’t have a ton of time to spend discussing cake design (but maybe that’s a good thing since she has a lot of customers)Giving 5 stars though because everything turned out exactly how I wanted for the birthday.Cake was delicious and they had a lot of cake flavors!I was able to bring cake decor for them to put on cake free of charge.

Ordered my cake like on Friday. It was ready the following Wednesday. They killed it! I asked for my daughters name, for them to incorporate her fave colors blue green, as well as a dinosaur. Very very pleased. This will be a cake she remembers forever! Will use them again!!
