In a culinary landscape where expectations run high, one restaurant has recently sparked a flurry of mixed sentiments among diners. While some rave about the vibrant atmosphere and delectable offerings, particularly the well-seasoned seafood boil and whiting platter, others express disappointment over inconsistent service and overcooked dishes. Complaints of missing items, inadequate staff attentiveness, and an overall lackluster experience tarnished several visits. Despite the highs of flavorful dishes, the lows leave diners questioning the value for money and the restaurant's reliability. It remains a venue of contrasts, celebrated by some while others vow to seek alternatives.
We are lovers of seafood and wanted to try something new. I walked in to order for take out. The restaurant was lovely and clean. The servers were very nice and food was ready in about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the food was sitting in about a gallonof grease/butter. The crabs were good but the corn, shrimp and potatoes were not worth eating due to it all swimming inflavored grease. Don't think we'll be coming back.
We ordered mussels and ended up getting sick, and the shrimp we received were not deveined. They really need to inform customers about the shrimp beforehand or at least include an option on the menu to ask if they'd like the shrimp deveined.
The food here is absolutely fantastic! A big thank you to Jeff and the kitchen team! I really appreciated the friendly service and warm smiles. Looking forward to coming back soon!
The restaurant wasn't busy at all, and our food arrived promptly. I had the Garlic Butter dish, which wasn’t spicy but very flavorful. Everything tasted great. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that they only provided a large shell cracker, with no other tools to help extract the seafood from the shell. Overall, it's a solid place to dine.
Rating: 3.5 - The food was served hot and fresh. The calamari was tender, but the batter on the fried appetizers was quite salty. The Combo B with Two Claws Signature Sauce at medium spice was also a bit too salty for my taste. I might consider returning to try the drinks and possibly another sauce. The waiter was very attentive and friendly, but the front staff/host wasn't as welcoming, even though there were only four customers in the restaurant.
