We have dined at the Acropole on each of our four visits to Bathurst in the last four months. It has become a must for us every time we visit Bathurst. The food is good and the people are friendly, we really feel at home there. The location is easy to find at 68 William St, on the corner of Howick St in the centre of the city. A convenient walk from many of the motels. View all feedback.
What Maša Vuka dislikes about Acropole:
Might have been a good, family friendly restraunt a generation ago, but the management has let everything go downhill. Food is from the 1980s, service is perfunctory by folks who just don' want to be there any more. It is in a good location and good be a great restrauantt, but it needs a change of manageement. My husband used to eat there regularly 49 years ago!! It's obviously been refurbished and modernised since, but it was a joy to find the staff, atmosphere, and food were all excellent.
We had a morning coffee here. The staff were friendly. The size of the cup for a long black was way too large.

You can always count on Church Bar for delicious woodfired gourmet pizzas or just to grab a drink. It's a great spot anytime of the day.
The restaurant is fantastic: it features live music, al fresco dining, and is housed in a converted church with high ceilings.
