If you are someone who is used to authentic Mexican food from Mexico or America, please do not expect the same thing at this restaurant...it is mediocre at best. Lovely people working there though! After reading great reviews we went there with high hopes. The service was very kind and although the cooker is Mexican the food was far from everything I have already tasted in Mexico. We missed the Mexican flavors. You can tell the food is fresh but all we ordered tasted similar and quite basic.
I went to this retaurant because it.was recommended by Mexicans to me! I must say that I'm glad I went! I had the Tacos al Pastor and they were sooooo good! The drinks are great and the personal so nice! I will be back soon!
First visit here, definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Basel. Service excellent and food very tasty. Had guacomole with chips to start, guacomole was delicious! Mains were all very good, our son is a very difficult to please vegetarian and he very much enjoyed his "Soja chorizo" dish, tacos with Angus beef were so good and worth going back for! Burros pork was excellent, but only to be recommended for someone with a very big appetite. The service was very friendly and efficient. Definitely will return!
