My cousin, who lives in Basel, took me here when I visited. It was awesome! This pub would have been a hit and miss for me if I didn't know someone, who knew the city. It's practically hidden. There were a lot of young people my age, great selections of drinks, good choice of music, everyone was very social and friendly, etc. I had the time of my life. We had drinks all around. An English/ Irish bar in Basel Old town. Serves Guinness and a variety of different beers. As with most places in Switzerland this isn't cheap and expect to pay around £12.00 for spirits. Friendly staff and for the smokers an inside separate bar area . View all feedback.

You just have to be mindful that the drinks are a little pricey, but hey, you can't put a price on fun, especially when you're on vacation.
Nelson pub was a good place to drink beer. Morever the staff was very kind. I recommend it. They jave tv for big event like football champions league, and a smoker area indoor.

If you are looking for a romantic place to take your better half I probably wouldn't go here. However, a place to get a reasonable pint of Guinness and a couple of good humoured bar staff then this is what you need. I quite enjoyed the place and we came here several times.
