I don’t have a sweet tooth but wanted to try Cool Beans because of the great reviews. It was delicious! I tried the croissant, 2 different muffins, a coockie with chocolate and the brownie. OMG so good. Go there. Markthalle is a nice place with lots of different food to choose from. View all feedback.
I really recommend this bakery for vagens! There were so many vegan options. I had spinach and cheese danish roll. Very good quality. A little pricey but I really enjoyed it. They have some vegan sweets and sandwiches also.
My favorite bakery in Basel. Handmade and great vegan choice. The croissants are amazing!

I am so thankful that I can buy products of the Vegetarian Butcher there, it's the only place in Basel and I more than happy :
This cafe is situated inside the market (Markthalle). There are lots of yummy vegan pastries, like croissant, pain au chocolat, muffins, cookies and even 1 savoury pastry. Plenty of indoor seating and the owner takes card. Great service as well, worth a trip!
