PL8, a once-celebrated Asian restaurant, has recently received mixed reviews from patrons. Carryout orders have been problematic, with missing items and subpar dishes becoming common complaints. The atmosphere and service seem to suffer during busy hours, impacting the overall experience. Despite a few positive experiences that highlight attentive staff and flavorful dishes, many long-time customers feel that PL8 is resting on its laurels and urge others to explore alternative options for their Asian dining needs.
We brought an old friend to lunch who is gluten-free and she recommended trying out this place. Our guest enjoyed a gluten-free salad and a tuna tataki dish.
The service at this restaurant is always excellent and the food is delicious. My favorite spot is at the bar where the staff is welcoming and attentive.
At first glance, the restaurant appeared clean and the staff was friendly. We were seated promptly without a reservation. However, the food just didn't meet our expectations.
PL8 is one of my favorite local restaurants. The quality of the food is always reliable, and the service is excellent.
This restaurant definitely needs a dedicated bartender. Additionally, the greeters should focus less on chatting with each other and more on ensuring that guests have everything they need for a pleasant dining experience, starting with providing menus. While the food was delicious, the service was so lacking that, unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll return.
