I stopped by this restaurant tonight while staying at the nearby Premier Inn. The staff were fantastic and very friendly and welcoming. The food was incredibly tasty, starting with breads and dips, a salad, and then the mixed Shish which was cooked perfectly. It was full of flavor and very reasonably priced. Overall, it was a fantastic meal.
Amazing tasty food….. best Turkish I have had in a long time…..had the chef mix and it was amazing everything freshly cooked with bread and lovely fresh salads can’t recommend this place enough…. What a hidden gem
I think because of our timing (very late lunch) the restaurant was not full so we had our choice of table, and a quiet atmosphere where we could easily converse whilst eating. The inside is snug if it was packed it 's possible the noise level could be distracting on the other hand you may enjoy the livelier surroundings. Service was excellent. The server was attentive and very helpful. She was also very knowledgeable about the available dishes and able to make excellent recommendations when consulted. Food choice was adequate for us but might not satisfy everyone. That is one reason I gave an overall rating of Very Good , instead of Excellent . Would recommend anyone intending to visit this restaurant to check the menu online before going, as we did, to ensure your favourites are offered.
The restaurant has undergone a makeover, replacing its old-fashioned decor with modern furnishings, giving the place a brighter and more spacious feel. The staff during our visit were different from the usual, leading me to believe there may have been a change in ownership. The menu has been refreshed with new items added alongside the traditional classics. Luckily, the portions are still generous and the food remains delicious.
This is the only place that I go to get lunch from as I work in the area. I have not tried else apart from the Grilled Chicken Wrap and Chips with their unique sauce but I'm sure everything else is quite good due to a lot of other people being there when I visit. Sometimes it does get really busy and I have to wait a little longer for my order but I do not mind. Please do try this place if you are in the area.
