Kacy's
Menu
On this website, you will find the complete menu of Kacy's from Bargara. Currently, there are 100 dishes and drinks available.
Kaceys restaurant offers a mixed dining experience that has left patrons divided. While some diners praise the exceptional service and delicious food—highlighting dishes like the pan-grilled barramundi and seafood chowder—others have raised concerns about the casual service style, high prices, and occasional rude staff interactions. Reservations may be necessary, given the hit-or-miss booking system, and there are complaints about specific dining requirements not being accommodated. Despite these inconsistencies, many appreciate the intimate atmosphere and the quality of the meals, though a few noted that small portion sizes and a limited cocktail selection detracted from the overall experience.

Was Anonym at Kacy's a mag?
I had a wonderful dining experience with my husband at this restaurant. The service was exceptional! We were lucky enough to get the best table without a reservation; we simply walked in and were accommodated right away. I really enjoyed the freshly squeezed juice blend. For our appetizer, we shared the Turkish bread with a trio of dips, which was a perfect size for two and left us ready for our main courses. My husb... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Kacy's:
the service was very poor. After 1 hour we had to ask the staff where our meal was. we said that we should be cooked next in-line. we didn't get our drinks until we had to remember them again. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
Pancakes are awesome - thick and fluffy! Would have preferred maple syrup on the side rather than being drenched in it. Everything else was average.
Not even worth one star!!! And we didn't even eat there, why your ask? Well We took a stroll from the other end of the esplanade specifically to dine at
Not even worth one star!!! And we didn 't even eat there, why your ask? Well... We took a stroll from the other end of the esplanade specifically to dine at kacys. We were greeted with a young lady who asked how many? To which we replied 3 adults, 1 child and two prams. She looked over her shoulder and said we have no room for you, we can however sit you out the back, where you would no longer be apart of the restaurant and you would need to serve yourself by coming up and ordering your dinner and drinks as we won 't come out to serve you strange we thought as the restaurant was near empty. at this point we were actually willing to just go with it as we had a young child with us who needed to eat, until.... A girl from the kitchen made the most disgusting comment.. Don 't come back in a tarty immature manner followed by giggles from the surrounding staff We were absolutely disgusted, we left straight away. So taken back by this, as we walked back to our hotel to make other dinner arrangements, we decided to call kacys to book a table.. Unknown to them it was us, so i asked to make a table reservation for 9 and about 7:30, they said they could do it for 8:30, i agreed to this and at the last minute said by the way we will be bringing two prams I was then put on hold for literally 1 second only to have another person pick back up and say that all of us a sudden no tables were available at all for that night, little do they know we just came from there, and saw with our own eyes a near empty restaurant. In the end I hung up on her. So, the vibe we got is, kids and babies are not welcome, or maybe it 's an out of towners thing. But to finish this review off on a high, we were actually considering this restaurant for a wedding of 30 guests, which apart from getting a nice dinner was the other reason we were heading here in the first place. Not only will the reception NOT be held here, they have also missed out on a completely booked out motel (non peek season) So I guess we are the winners here. We ended up at grunkies on the river, while we won 't hold a reception here, the food is nice and we 're greeted with friendly staff and enjoyed our evening after all. Kacys is a pathetic excuse for a restaurant and I will never return and I will spread the word that they treated us like absolute scum.
Pancakes are awesome thick and fluffy! Would have preferred maple syrup on the side rather than being drenched in it. Everything else was average. Plain white sandwich bread for toast (c'mon you can do better than that) and blah scrambled eggs. Come for the pancakes!
