Happened upon this place on my way home. Ebru, the owner’s daughter and bartender, was not only friendly but it was so enjoyable chatting to her! Not a pretentious place but more of a friendly local bar. I’ve just moved into the neighborhood so glad to have found this place. Thanks, Ebru!
Had a Turkish meal at this restaurant. Ordered a falafel dish, veggie paella, veggie spaghetti and pizza All the dishes tasted great with amid of Turkish and Spanish fusion. service with a smile We had a little problem with one for the dishes which was quickly fixed with a fresh dish. Fast service and they aim to please . Only annoyance was the TV music but they would have switched channels if we had asked
We chose this restaurant as we live nearby and had good reviews online. The first impression was not great as the tables on the Rambla were set and the plates and cutlery were super dirty as they have been left there all day. We ordered chicken wings and lamb chops which we have had many times in other Turkish restaurants and they were disappointing. We asked for Turkish tea but we were served one with a teabag from the supermarket with a lot of things floating in it. There are a few descent Turkish restaurants in Barcelona but this is not one of them.
The the fanciest of restbut it was child friendly and what we need one night. It wasn’t the best meal we had in Barcelona but for €40 for four people including drinks. You really Xx t ask for more.
We are staying in the area for three weeks and found this restaurant on our first day. It was a great find. The food is good and their daily plate special is excellent. A friend of ours arrived two days ago and all three of us went for dinner and everyone was happy. While we were eating a group of students came in to play music and sing (These groups are called TUNA and there are competitions among the group. . It was fun. Service is good and I would certainly recommend it while you are in town. It is also in an area that isn’t as crowded as Las Ramblas downtown and I think it is nicer.
