I don't understand the hype surrounding this place. There were long lines for average ice cream. The flavors were okay, but nothing extraordinary or unique. My ice cream had some hard frozen parts, which made me think it was old. The homemade waffle cones were tasty though. View all feedback.
This is definitely one of the top ice cream shops in Canada. They offer take-out containers of their delicious ice cream so you can enjoy it at home. The store also sells other cute condiments and souvenirs that make for great gifts or mementos. Grab a scoop or two and take a stroll through the picturesque streets of Banff while indulging in this tasty treat.
The ice cream at this restaurant is delicious. It's too bad that there is no indoor seating, but there are plenty of outdoor seating options available. The service is extremely fast and efficient. Even though there is often a line, it moves quickly. Unfortunately, they were out of Nanaimo when we visited, which was disappointing. However, you can't go wrong with COWS ice cream. They also offer chocolate covered crisps for sale and have a charming gift shop.
I was initially skeptical about the popularity of the cows at this restaurant, but after trying seven different flavors of their ice cream during our five-day stay, I can see why they're so well-loved. The variety of flavors is impressive and each one was a delicious surprise. Even the more unusual combinations worked well together. If you enjoy sorbet, I highly recommend trying the strawberry sorbet - it's a real winner.
I get it. The line is super long and it doesn’t look worth the wait, but life is short just try it once!! The view down Banff Ave can keep you occupied as you wait. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Nice ice cream, lots of funny names and non common flavors, however, while I enjoyed the ice cream , I can’t honestly say it worth the long line. Got 3 scope in a cup, Coffee was ok, chocolate orange was so-so, maple was good. Sign show that they will not let you try anything due to some Canadian law.
