What a great place this is: it’s being going since 1905 apparently, and some of the décor looks unchanged…even the cobwebs in the corners might have been around a while! The music is wonderful, a DJ strolling through classics and little-known gems of blues, 60s rock and so much more. The clientele is mixed in every way and it’s a lovely warm and welcoming venue. Beautiful, rustic pub with good drink selection and small snacks. here you can spend great cozy evenings!
What a great place this is: it’s being going since 1905 apparently, and some of the décor looks unchanged…even the cobwebs in the corners might have been around a while! The music is wonderful, a DJ strolling through classics and little-known gems of blues, 60s rock and so much more. The clientele is mixed in every way and it’s a lovely warm and welcoming venue. The beer selection is good, with a decent array of local beers including the classic smoked beer of the immediate area. The house wine was okay too. We received a warm welcome as visitors even though it is obviously a locals’ favourite.
This pub never changes and that's good too. all ages are welcome here. here you just feel comfortable
This has always been a weird and wonderful place to spend time with friends, on your own, or meet new people. It's a very laid back atmosphere, very nice customers and staff. I've been going here for around 15 years, and I have never had a bad experience. A simply wonderful place. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Cozy little place in the heart of the city of Bamberg. This bar is quite unique compared to other bars here. The differences could be seen in the ambiance, decorations and most importantly with their music choices. Had a really great time there. One bad thing is you can only pay with cash here, no cards allowed. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
