**Restaurant Review: A Potentially Great Korean BBQ Experience** Nestled in a less-than-appealing area of Baltimore, this Korean BBQ restaurant offers a unique experience with its wood-fired charcoal grill, enhancing the flavors of its dishes. While some patrons have expressed disappointment in the inconsistency of the food and the attentiveness of service, others praise the deliciousness of specific dishes, like rice cake soup and seafood pancakes. Although banchan portions and sauces could be improved, the ambiance and the camaraderie of dining with friends are highlights. With a few tweaks, this restaurant could elevate its dining experience, satisfying both loyal customers and newcomers alike.
The meat marinades are consistently spot on, and the service is fast. While dining solo or with one other person can be pricey, it becomes much more affordable when you go with a group and share the bill.

Came in and the place was super dark and felt really old. Tables and chairs looked like they hadn’t been updated in decades. What bothered me most was the smoke—there’s barely any ventilation, and it honestly felt hard to breathe at times. Food-wise, the sundubu was alright, nothing special. But the marinated galbi? Total letdown. It looked like dog food and was so tough I could barely chew it. Tasted like they cooked frozen meat straight out of the freezer with the thawed water rubbery and just off. I told the server, and she took it back, only to bring it right back and say it was “perfectly cooked.” You can decide for yourself (check the photo).
