Despite some initial hesitation based on pre... read more Baba G has been open in Ballaghaderreen for a few months, and this was our first time ordering takeaway from there. Despite some initial hesitation based on previous visits to this location, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The menu features a wide variety of reasonably priced, authentic Indian dishes alongside classics like pizza and burgers. We ordered tarka dal, mushroom bhaji, peshwari naan, and chicken jalfrezi with rice. The food arrived hot, flavorful, and clearly freshly prepared, with generous portions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were also impressed by the beautifully decorated dining area behind the takeaway counter. We’re already looking forward to dining in next time. Ballaghaderreen finally has a fantastic Indian restaurant and takeaway, and we highly recommend Baba G to anyone in the area who enjoys excellent Indian cuisine.

It appears that Ballaghaderreen is still waiting for a truly genuine Indian restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend dining here.
