I tried the chicken basanti and lamb biryani, and both dishes were excellent. The staff were very accommodating, and it’s wonderful to have such a great Indian restaurant in Ballaghaderreen.
A surprisingly delicious Indian dinner at Baba G. The saag distributor, vegetable butter masala, mattar paneer, wobble bhakti, and garlic naan were all amazing!
Baba G has been open in Ballaghaderreen for a few months, and this was our first experience ordering takeaway from them. Although we were initially hesitant due to previous visits to this location, the quality of the food pleasantly surprised us. The menu offers a broad selection of reasonably priced, authentic Indian dishes alongside classic options like pizza and burgers. We ordered tarka dal, mushroom bhaji, peshwari naan, and chicken jalfrezi with rice. The food arrived hot, flavorful, and clearly freshly made, with generous servings. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and we were also impressed by the beautifully decorated dining area behind the takeaway counter. We’re already looking forward to eating in next time. Ballaghaderreen finally has a fantastic Indian restaurant and takeaway, and we highly recommend Baba G to anyone in the area who enjoys quality Indian cuisine.
Baba G is an exceptional dining spot. We ate there recently, and the menu was excellent. I strongly encourage everyone to visit – it’s genuinely a wonderful place to enjoy a meal.
