Faktorei is 25 minutes from downtown Zurich in the town of Bäch, on the shores of the lake of Zurich. They serve some of the best fish in the Zurich area. It is well worth the drive from Zurich or only 10 minutes away from...Pfäffikon SZ. The restaurant is in a historic building with lots of charm and patina. The service is excellent and attentive. I would say we are returning guests, eating there every 3 weeks. The Service (I guess her name is Diana, is very efficient, friendly, caring and attentive. We always get treated almost as royals. A wonderful destination restaurant in the environs of Zurich. Lovely old school atmosphere and well-executed fish dishes. The egli is outstanding. Also love the chocolate mousse. Easy to get to by car or train and the location is very picturesque on the lake in Bäch.
There is no better place than factorei for a delicious fish meal. in summer the terrace opens its doors under the moonlight and the gourmet food and the classic friendly service fits very well! it is an upper end on the pocket and so is the food!
