We were warmly welcomed and the food was very good. I ordered a beef salad, sliced thinly with plenty of beef and onions. The pumpkin seed oil was dosed just right and not too overpowering. The boss himself goes from table to table and asks if everything is okay and the service was very friendly. All in all, a pleasant, successful evening in an equally cozy Bavarian inn
Great inn with traditional regional dishes. We can recommend everything on the menu...especially the spleen sausage. Friendly service staff and the price-performance ratio is right. There are enough parking spaces across the street. We will definitely come back.
This is what you imagine Bavarian, down-to-earth, regional, home-style cooking to be like. The roast pork or beef shoulder is juicy and not dry. The sauce is delicious. The pasta with Gorgonzola sauce is better than at some Italian restaurants. The pancakes with cranberries are made not just with flour, but with plenty of eggs. They even use butter here. And all this for an excellent price-performance ratio. The service is fast, competent, and dedicated. You can feel the family business and their dedication to their guests. Rather unassuming from the outside, the restaurant is always busy inside. That speaks for itself...especially suitable for visitors to the campsite for lunch. NOTE: Only open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Above all, Awesome! A pure culinary experience, decent homemade dishes, home-style and very tasty. A cozy atmosphere, a friendly welcome. A definite recommendation , even for table reservations…
