I did not take advantage of food/beverages this trip but I have no doubt I will return. I've visited other dog friendly bars in Austin but did not like them. This one is the perfect size. I could keep an eye on my dog easily while warming up near the fire pit tables. Bars are not normally my thing but it so easy to casually visit with other pet owners. My dog loved running around the yard which I'm hoping results in a great night of sleep for us both!
This is definitely going to be our favorite new dog bar when we visit the Austin area. The staff were great at sharing the logistics and getting us through the door. We especially appreciate that outside food and toys are not allowed, it made us feel at ease for our dog. Very well fenced in and the dogs all were having a great time. The beers were great and there was plenty of seating available for us to sit and watch our pups play.
Brought my Pug to interact with other dogs, he was nervous at 1st, as he roamed around, he seemed to enjoy it, I'll have to go back a few times to let him learn how to be around other dogs, other dogs were accommodating and friendly, I enjoyed the time there.
Rex and Sadie's all-time favorite spot! The staff here are incredible—kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. This is truly the best backyard experience we could ask for, and the team’s love for every dog really shines through!
Yard is an amazing place to bring your dogs and hang out all day! We’ve visited a few times, and our dog always has a fantastic time. It costs about $10 per visit, or you can get a membership if you come frequently to save money. There’s plenty of seating, though some areas have limited shade, so don’t forget sunscreen! They offer misting fans to keep you cool on hot days and heaters for chilly weather. Grab a seat, let your pups off leash, and then head to the bar for a selection of craft beers, cocktails, and frozen drinks. The staff are fantastic and do a great job managing energetic groups of dogs, so you can relax. That said, this spot is perfect only if you love meeting pups of all shapes and sizes who won’t mind invading your personal space! Also, keep an eye on your drinks—dogs love sneaking licks from the picnic tables. Attached to Yard Bar is Fat Stacks, a great place to enjoy sliders or a chicken sandwich. They even have a dog menu and plenty of outdoor seating!
