Located on the eleventh floor of the Otis Hotel, Otopia Rooftop Bar and Lounge offers a unique experience from sunrise to sunset. Enjoy our signature sun-themed cocktails, a raw beef sushi bar, and stunning views of campus and downtown Austin. We pride ourselves on exceptional guest service, creative and fresh food options, and tasteful music to ensure a fantastic evening for you and your party. Otopia is currently collaborating with Burger Bar on Campus, serving wagyu burgers, fries, and other delicious specialties. Note that Otopia's food menu is not currently available. Ages 21+ only.

Otopia offers stunning views and a great ambiance, but falls short on service and food quality. The rooftop location is perfect for a summer night out, with a welcoming female bartender and within walking distance of Moody Center. However, poor service, lack of sushi options, and underwhelming dishes were major drawbacks. The cozy atmosphere and tasty drinks, such as the Champagne Supernova, make Otopia a good spot to relax and unwind with friends. Overall, while there are some positives to be found, diners might want to manage their expectations before visiting.
Very nice view and ambience! The frozen sungria was delicious. Food was just okay and very small portions for expensive prices
We gave Otopia a poor rating because the service was bad. it was not very crowded and we had been seated for minutes before we even got a cocktail. Waitress did not even ask us if we wanted anything to eat which we did but since the service was poor we left. We were very disappointed as this was our time to visit. however I must say that the waitress did offer us a second round of cocktails on the house because it took so long to get the first round. That was nice
Not sure why Otopia is on OpenTable because when we arrived, the staff said they don’t take reservations. There was a large party that had arrived unexpectedly, but despite all that the staff was able to provide a spot that we could gather. View was nice and weather was fantastic, so good ambience. Do not get the shrimp cocktail.
The highlight of the experience was the gorgeous views! Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. The crab rolls were greasy and the sushi was mediocre. Service was slow and the staff was not very friendly.
