After a night of partying in Austin, honey and I were hungry. It was 3am and we didn't want anything from downtown so we just started cruising. We see this little truck posted up all by its lonesome self at 3am and we stopped.Best decision of the night.Order everything but make sure you get their special fries too. Did not inform that they were out of certain ingredients like the chicken in a chicken wrap until after people had ordered. A friend tried to request a wrap specifically without tzatziki because of a dairy allergy- the man taking orders refused to mark that down on the order, insisting that he would make sure it was done correctly. My husband ate here recently and lost his phone. The owner, Sam, was so kind and helpful during a very stressful situation. Sam and his employees went out of their way to locate the phone and we are so very grateful. Fantastic food, spectacular customer service, and truly wonderful people.
Best halal food in town, there tzatziki sauce on point i can't pass by without getting the combo plate highly-recommended
The more i try other halal places, the more i appreciate just how awesome Halal Time is. Their halal is without a doubt, the best i've had in this city, or indeed, this country. the quality and quantity of their rice dishes are amazing. i suspect it's all about the pickles. while the meats (especially the lamb and beef Shawarma) are excellent (as is their kebabs and hummus)... the authentic mid-eastern pickles add just the perfect touch of flavor. the rice is always cooked to perfection, and the vegetables are fresh and perfectly paired in the dishes.
BEST HALAL EVER honestly so good. The guys are super nice. The truck is clean and the food is ready so fast. I get it like 3 times a week
