Cuvée Coffee
Menu
The menu of Cuvée Coffee from Austin comprises about 25 different dishes and drinks. On average you pay about $3.9 for a dish / drink.
Nestled on 6th Street in downtown Austin, this charming coffee shop is a mixed bag of experiences. With convenient outdoor parking and a warm atmosphere, many appreciate the friendly baristas and standout nitro cold brew. However, inconsistencies in quality have left some patrons disappointed, particularly with their chai lattes and baked goods. While the espresso drinks and cold brews often receive praise for their rich flavors, complaints about burnt coffee and unpalatable teas have surfaced. Overall, the shop offers a decent vibe for coffee enthusiasts but may need to refine its menu to ensure a more consistent experience for all visitors.

This Austin coffee shop is a must-visit for anyone looking for a place to work, meet up with friends, or just relax. I recently met with some clients here and we all had a fantastic time, especially enjoying our drinks. I highly recommend trying the cold brew without ice - it's so flavorful you won't miss it. I will definitely be returning in the future. View all feedback.
What Ellie C dislikes about Cuvée Coffee:
An adorable coffee shop situated on 6th Street in downtown Austin. The shop has a spacious outdoor parking lot in front, making parking convenient. The coffee is decent, but their nitro cold brew is definitely a standout. I appreciate the incorporation of Texas elements in their wall art. The barista was friendly and kind, and even surprised me with a lovely leaf latte art. View all feedback.
Cuvee offers delicious espresso drinks. I particularly enjoyed the bold flavor and smooth taste of their coffee. I would suggest trying either a latte or cold brew. The golden milk had a unique flavor profile that reminded me of Thai curry, which I typically enjoy, just not in my coffee.
This coffee shop is fantastic! The atmosphere is lovely and they have a charming outdoor seating area. The blueberry poppy muffins are absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness.
My experiences at this restaurant are always great. All of the employees wear masks and the restaurant is dog-friendly. They also serve alcoholic drinks and delicious snacks. The staff is not overly talkative, but I appreciate that. They always answer my questions without any issues, but they don't try to make small talk. This is how I prefer my interactions at coffee shops. I am always greeted warmly and given a delicious drink or snack to go with it as a farewell. The restaurant is small, but the perfect size for what it offers. It is a great place to work, and the shaded area on the terrace is beautiful. I have never had any issues here. I highly recommend trying the cardamom cream puff, it's delicious. Their matcha drinks are also amazing. I tried the chagaccino for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. I will definitely be ordering this drink often. The service here is always fast and friendly. Love comes in occasionally to greet me. Overall, this is a great place with a very comfortable atmosphere.
The real reason for my one star review is that I just got the nastiest chai latte I 've ever had. I consistently go to new coffee places and check out their chai, I 'm never coming back here. The people working there were eating McDonalds at the counter, which I didn 't even care about. I started to care after spending 6 dollars for a drink I literally poured down the drain. Because the first sip was disgusting. I walked up to the counter to explain that I 'd like some more sweetener, the cashier 's first response is well, I put sweetener in there. They did give me a small cup with additional sweetener (still wasn 't enough to cover up how bad the drink was . You know what you also did, you dumped the drink into the cup, I never saw you stir it and when I took the first sip after I stirred it for the first time. There was so much cinnamon in one sip it made the drink grainy and it made me sick to my stomach. The chai was obviously boiled too hot for too long, so the base is bitter and disgusting and the barista didn 't care to mix the drink they gave me?! I 'm so freaking disappointed, this place is right across from where I live and I was excited to have a place nearby I could swing to, never mind on that. (Also, what are these chunks at the bottom of my freaking cup?!
This place is known for their cold brew, which is excellent and comes in a couple choices. Their espresso drinks are well prepared as well. I don’t drink drip coffee so I’m unsure about their drip coffee. In addition they have onsite parking and it doesn’t cost to park there or on the street. The street parking seems okay, you may walk about an 1/8th of a mile max during a crowded time for east sixth. I would recommend this as a place to folks who are looking for really strong coffee and who are looking to work a couple hours outside the home office.
