What ugv tanchis dislikes about Lo Squisito:
To be closed,,, immediately without ifs or buts. They pass off a piece of cattle that died of old age as steak. Inedible even for an unpretentious user. French fries in old oil, eaten out of desperation. Normal service. Beer also good. 45 euros after receiving a discount, otherwise it was 50 euros absolutely undeserved. The worst lunch of my existence. View all feedback.
From the outside this looks like a coffee shop come café. The owners are fabulous, so nice accommodating. If you want fish or seafood you have to tell them the day before, whatever is on the menu is bought from the market that morning! What more could you want? Food is cooked fresh in the tiniest kitchen but is lovely. Try the house red, couldn't believe that a 1 litre carafe was only €4.00! Great value for money, had to leave them a generous tip, seemed rude not to as our meal was so good so cheap. If you want finery don't go here, if you appreciate good home cooked food then do!
During my stay in Assemini, I went to Lo Squisito a few times. The food was fantastic wide selection in the menu and definitely some of the best meals I had in Sardinia. The owners, Elena and Luigi, were so warm and friendly to me. Go if you are in the area
