Cornerstone offers a nice atmosphere with flavorful food, but some menu items are overpriced. The Caesar salad lacked dressing, while the lamb burger was dry. A group of 12 faced poor service with long delays and unclean tables. Despite inconsistencies in food quality, the artichoke appetizer was a standout. The Amish chicken received high marks for taste, but was slightly dry. The menu features unique items with ample portions and a nice liquor selection. Outdoor seating had efficient heating, but noise from traffic and trains was a drawback. Overall, Cornerstone provides a mixed dining experience with some highlights and disappointments.
The menu offers a good variety of options. The main dishes are large, appetizers are good, and sandwiches and sides are also good. The wait staff and kitchen were efficient in handling orders and did a great job with preparing dishes, clearing courses, and serving drinks. However, the Malbec wine was not to my preference, and there is no option to choose different tiers within a single type of wine since wines are only available by the glass. This might not be important for some people.
Went for New Years Eve. Food was great. Also love this place for Sunday brunch.
Great food and service but restaurant needs some sound dampening materials.
Turned away on Father 's day due to only taking reservations. I checked the website to ensure they were open and no mention of reservations only also nothing on Facebook site. Previous experience includes poor service where we waited over 20 minutes to get water and food orders after tables sat after us were taken care of first.
Cashier was absolutely clueless. Front of the House staff was zero help to cook or cashier or customers. Waited 35min for vegan perogies mediocre quality and $12). They ran out of other options. Cook was tragically behind. Cashier didn 't properly take orders so cook would finish an order only to learn that two should have been made, not one. Cook is [seemingly] not used to cooking in a fast paced which needs organizational skills or if he is his support staff failed him miserably. They didn 't have foresight to say sandwiches are taking 30 to 45min so people could decide for themselves. Front of house looked like deer in headlights. Shame. This place could be great. But the cost of the food, terrible service, excessive wait times, quality of end product, lack of knowledge of who 's running it all made for me never wanting to go back
